Environmental Education is complex, dynamic and ever changing. The need of the hour is the creation of an ecologically sustainable society where environmental protection and ecological growth can progress hand in hand. The role of EE as the key factor in bringing the required change in attitude, thinking and action in people is very crucial.

This course has been designed to help the learner develop a better sense and understanding of the environment, and also to help expand knowledge and skills as an educator. At the end of the course, the learner will not only gain foundation knowledge but will also gain an understanding of how best one can incorporate quality Environmental Education into the teaching-learning process.
